Chelsea Rey Ransford

Chief Operations Officer

“If we don’t shape our kids, they will be shaped by outside forces that don’t care what shape our kids are in.”

— Dr. Louise Hart

Chelsea has always known she wanted to homeschool, even before having kids. When she shared her plans with Nicole, the director of The Community Treehouse, she was introduced to Wolverine Wonders and decided to give it a try as her oldest son was starting kindergarten.

Seeing how much he thrived in the co-op, she knew she wanted to help bring the same experience to other families.

As Chief Operations Officer, Chelsea is responsible for ensuring the co-op runs smoothly behind the scenes. From materials to logistics, she helps make sure every Wolverine Wonders program is ready to serve families each week.

She brings a strong background in business and organization, having earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration - Business Management from Fort Lewis College. Before stepping into homeschooling full-time, she worked as a licensed Title Examiner for Colorado Title and Closing Services and now helps run her family’s excavation and concrete business and Black Angus Ranch while raising her children.

Chelsea is a fifth-generation La Plata County resident, which makes her boys the sixth! Her deep roots in the area and commitment to caregiver-led education make her a perfect fit for Wolverine Wonders. She firmly believes in shaping children’s experiences in a way that nurtures their curiosity and growth, aligning with one of her favorite quotes:

“If we don’t shape our kids, they will be shaped by outside forces that don’t care what shape our kids are in.”

— Dr. Louise Hart

From day one, Chelsea has been actively involved in Wolverine Wonders, always ready to step up and lead wherever needed. Her attention to detail, tech-savviness, and organizational skills have made her the perfect person to oversee our day-to-day operations.
We feel incredibly fortunate to have her in this role. Her dedication, reliability, and drive are essential to the success of our programs. We’re excited for what’s ahead with Chelsea helping guide the way.
