Enrichment Programs
Wolverine Wonders offers a diverse array of programs designed to enrich the homeschooling experience for families in the Four Corners area and beyond. We believe in providing children with opportunities to learn, explore, and grow in a structured yet engaging environment. Our programs are built on the values of curiosity, collaboration, and community, ensuring that every child and caregiver finds meaningful ways to connect and learn. From hands-on classes to exploratory field trips, we are committed to supporting homeschooling families with resources that inspire wonder and empower growth.

Mini Classes
Our signature program, Mini Classes, provides children aged 4–8 with dynamic, themed lessons twice a week. These 20-minute sessions introduce a variety of topics, from science and history to geography and the arts, in an engaging and age-appropriate way. Each class is thoughtfully structured to include interactive activities, reading comprehension, and opportunities for creative expression. Mini Classes emphasize group participation and hands-on learning, ensuring that children stay engaged and curious throughout the session.

Quest Lab
Designed for older children, Quest Lab offers a more independent, self-guided learning experience. This program runs concurrently with Mini Classes, allowing middle school-aged kids to delve deeper into project-based or research-driven assignments. Each session begins with a brief introduction to the day’s theme, after which children work independently to complete a challenge or project. Quest Lab nurtures critical thinking, problem-solving, and responsibility, empowering older children to take charge of their educational journey while enjoying a collaborative environment.

Life Chats
A weekly program designed for homeschooled teens, ready to launch as soon as we have enough interest from families with teens aged 14–18. Life Chats offers guided conversations on essential life skills, from money management and communication to career exploration and everyday problem-solving. Whenever possible, guest speakers join to share their experiences and answer questions. This program will be up and running as demand arrives, giving teens a supportive space to learn, share, and prepare for life beyond school.

Marvelous Minds
Marvelous Minds brings history, art, and innovation to life for all ages. Held once a month, this program explores the contributions of inspiring figures, from renowned artists to groundbreaking inventors. Each session combines storytelling, hands-on activities, and engaging discussions to immerse children in the lives and legacies of remarkable individuals. Marvelous Minds aims to spark creativity and curiosity, leaving participants inspired by the achievements that have shaped our world.

Paint & Sip Kids
In collaboration with Mixed Pallet. Paint and Sip Kids combines art and creativity in a fun, interactive environment. This monthly program encourages children to explore their artistic abilities through intuitive painting. Kids are provided with a wide variety of painting tools, materials, and inspiration, allowing them to express themselves freely and develop confidence in their creativity. To keep the experience enjoyable, we also provide organic juices and water for the kids. Paint and Sip Kids fosters a love for the arts and gives children a unique keepsake to cherish and display.

Elevated Wolverines
In partnership with Elevated Martial Arts. Elevated Wolverines offers kids a chance to learn essential self-defense skills in a safe, supportive environment. Through monthly sessions, children build confidence, improve coordination, and gain practical techniques to protect themselves. Each session begins with an introduction and Q&A, followed by a structured and accessible activity that ensures children of all abilities can participate. This program is not only about physical safety but also about fostering self-awareness and empowerment.

Book Club
A monthly program where kids dive into great stories together! Each family receives a copy of the selected book, and we read it over a set schedule before coming together to discuss the story, share favorite parts, and explore its themes. To make it extra fun, every book we read has a movie adaptation, giving kids the chance to compare the book to the film during our follow-up Movie Day.

Movie Day
A monthly program that brings stories to life on the big screen! After finishing each Book Club selection, kids gather to watch its movie adaptation together. It’s a fun way to compare the book with the film, notice differences, and spark lively conversations about storytelling.

Sprouts & Spoons
A monthly program where kids learn the essentials of cooking. From following recipes step by step to measuring ingredients and practicing proper food etiquette, each session gives kids the chance to build confidence and practical skills in food preparation. Along the way, they’ll also discover where ingredients come from and how food makes its way to the table.

Grandfriends Day
A monthly program in collaboration with Evenings Porch, where kids visit the senior community once a month to share time and activities with the residents. From games and crafts to simple conversations, these visits create meaningful connections across generations.

Games & Giggles
A monthly program all about fun and connection through play. Kids come together to enjoy a variety of board games, group activities, and friendly challenges that encourage teamwork, problem-solving, and lots of laughter. It’s a lighthearted way to build friendships and practice collaboration while having a great time.

Wonder Cycle
A monthly program in collaboration with Sober Water, where kids learn about recycling and creative ways to reduce waste. Each session features a hands-on project that transforms everyday items into something new and useful, showing kids how small actions can make a big difference for the environment.

Parent Support Sessions
A twice-monthly program designed to support homeschooling parents in our co-op. These sessions are led by Kathleen Murphy, our Vice President and a licensed Colorado teacher with a strong background in elementary education and literacy development. Kathleen brings her expertise in fostering literacy, supporting gifted learners, and providing practical strategies for homeschooling. While each family chooses its own curriculum, these sessions give parents the opportunity to ask questions, seek advice, and gain valuable input from a licensed educator who is part of our leadership team.

Field Trips
Exploration goes beyond the classroom at Wolverine Wonders. Our monthly field trips allow families to experience hands-on learning in unique settings. From apple orchards to wildlife parks and historical tours, these outings complement our in-class topics and create lasting memories for children and caregivers alike. Field trips encourage curiosity, social interaction, and a deeper connection to the community and the natural world.

Play Dates
Regular opportunities for families to gather in a relaxed, social setting. These meetups give kids time to play freely while parents connect and build community with one another. Play Dates are flexible and casual, offering space for friendships to grow and families to enjoy time together outside of structured programs.
